Removing the memory module

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
   1. battery
   2. base cover
   3. docking board
3. To remove the memory module shield:
   1. Lift the metal tabs to remove the memory module shield [1].
   2. Lift and remove the memory module shield [2].
   
4. To remove the memory module:
   1. Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up [1].
   2. Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board [2].
