Removing the fingerprint reader

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery
  3. To remove the fingerprint reader:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the cover [1].
    2. Slide and lift the cover to expose the fingerprint reader board [2, 3].
    3. Disconnect the cable from the fingerprint reader board [4].
