You can run the zDP Definition Utility as a batch job. The JCL is as follows:

Where:

• ds_prefix is the product dataset name prefix that you specified during installation of Mainframe Enablers as described in the Mainframe Enablers Installation and Customization Guide.
• The commented statements (ZDPSNAP, EMCQCAPI, and ESNAZDPL) are intended for diagnostic purposes and should be used under the direction of Dell Customer Support.
• If any datasets are specified for the SYSPRINT, ZPDRPT, and ZPDERR statements, they must have BLKSIZE=LRECL=121.
• nnnn identifies the ResourcePak Base task that the job runs against.
• zDP Definition Utility commands are listed in Command reference.
