Modify Remote Connection

Modify remote connection capability is provided to accommodate the change in local cluster IP address used by an existing remote system to communicate with remote cluster.

About this task

Once the local PowerMax array is selected, follow the below steps to modify remote connection:

Steps

  1. SelectData Protection.
  2. SelectFile Protection.
  3. Click on REMOTE CONNECTION tab.
  4. Select the Remote Connection and click Modify. Modify Remote Connection dialogue box opens.
  5. Modify the Name, Remote Cluster IP, and File Control Network
  6. Click Run Now.

Results

This operation now modifies a Remote Connection.
