Installation of ESXi 7.0 fails on PowerEdge modular servers with BCM 5719 or 5720
- Description
- ESXi 7.0 installation fails on certain server configuration with the following error message:
No compatible Network adapter found. Please consult the product's Hardware Compatibility Guide (HCG) for a list of supported adapters.
The failure occurs only on Dell EMC PowerEdge modular servers that are supported on M1000e, VRTX, and FX2 Chassis with BCM 5720 or 5719 NIC. This issue is due to ntg3 driver limitations. - Workaround
