VMware vSphere 7.x on Dell PowerEdge Systems Release Notes
NVDIMM battery health status is displayed incorrectly on vCenter web client and ESXi host web client
- Description
- The Hardware Health tab of the ESXi host web client and vCenter web client displays the status of the NVDIMM battery incorrectly. The status is shown as Healthy when the battery power cable and I2C cable are disconnected. This issue is related to the HTML client used by both the ESXi host web client and the vCenter web client.
- Workaround
- The esxcli hardware ipmi sdr list command displays the correct status of the NVDIMM battery.
