Charles Robison

Distinguished Engineer, Engineering Technologist Client Solutions, Office of the CTO

Charles Robison serves as an Engineering Technologist for Client Solutions at Dell Technologies where his responsibilities include security strategy for Dell PCs focused on user and device identity, access management and supply chain security.

After Graduating Georgia Tech with a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Robison joined Dell in 2002, and over the next 22 years contributed to electrical board design, battery life management including EnergyStar compliance, advanced concept development, development of user authentication strategies for Dell’s ControlVault solution and most recently developing the Secured Component Verification solution for modernizing Dell PC’s Identity Root of Trust.

Currently, Mr. Robison is active in the Trusted Computing Group, FIDO Alliance and NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.
