Sr. Vice President, Data - Dell Digital
Hemal has been with Dell since 2008, currently serving as Regional CIO (APJ) and Senior Vice President of all things data.
As a regional CIO, Hemal’s team executes the Global CIO strategy in APJ, partnering with APJ business teams. The Data team defines and drives the global data strategy for Dell Technologies.
Prior to this role, he has led multiple IT functions and teams, supporting stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Services, Global Operations, Supply Chain, Online and Finance. He also led key IT strategy and architecture projects, including Digital Transformation, Mergers and Acquisitions.
Before joining Dell, Hemal was with KPMG/BearingPoint Inc. as a Senior Manager for the Customer Value Management team and Oracle practice.
He has a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute in India. He also has taken leadership courses at Yale University School of Management.
Hemal currently lives in Bangalore India with his wife and two kids.
