We’re thrilled to announce that Red Hat OpenShift is now available on the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. The solution at a glance
At its core, this solution represents the best of Dell, Red Hat, and NVIDIA engineering, combining strengths to deliver an optimized, scalable AI platform that is all backed by expert guidance throughout the lifecycle. It all starts with Dell’s advanced infrastructure, deeply rooted in open standards. Each Dell PowerEdge R760xa server node supports up to L40S or H100 NVL GPU accelerators, with a minimum configuration supporting two nodes for robust performance and high-availability.
Running on this infrastructure is Red Hat OpenShift, serving as the operating environment and the Kubernetes container orchestration layer. On top of this lies NVIDIA AI Enterprise, an essential software stack offering the critical AI/ML tools and capabilities you need. Management of the solution is hosted on a separate four node cluster powered by Dell PowerEdge R660 servers. The networking that underpins the whole solution is seamlessly enabled by NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking switches and NVIDIA Bluefield-3 SuperNICs.
And the innovation doesn’t stop there. Soon, we’ll introduce support for larger Dell PowerEdge XE9680 server nodes, which can handle up to 8 NVIDIA H200 SXM5 GPU accelerators per node. Additionally, Dell Automation Platform blueprints will soon roll out to streamline deployment further, and optional Red Hat OpenShift AI support will bring additional MLOps tooling for enhanced flexibility and interoperability.
