Hyper-V-virtuaalikoneen (VM) rakeisen tason palautuksen (GLR) asennus epäonnistuu ja

Joissakin käyttöympäristöissä tämä saattaa myös saada Windows GLR -palvelimet tai välityspalvelimet käynnistymään uudelleen selausyrityksen aikana.

Cause

Hyper-V:n, Exchangen, SharePointin ja SQL:n (TLR) Avamar GLR -laajennuksiin on upotettu kolmannen osapuolen ohjain ELDOS-ajuri.

Tätä osaa tarvitaan tietokannan Avamar-varmuuskopiointipolun asentamiseen, jotta voidaan suorittaa myöhemmin Itempoint-työkalulla täydennettävät GLR- tai TLR-toiminnot.

ELDOS-ajuri on aiemmassa versiossa, jossa ei ole uusimpia parannuksia uudempien Windows-käyttöjärjestelmien (Windows 2022 ja uudemmat) tukemiseksi. Tämä aiheuttaa edellä mainitut viat.

Tämän seurauksena GLR- tai TLR-palautusta ei tueta Windows 2022:ssa ja sitä uudemmissa versioissa, mikä näkyy myös Avamar Support Matrix -taulukossa.
