Latitude Laptops with a Qualcomm Processor Does Not Use Mac Passthrough on DisplayLink Docks

Latitude laptop equipped with a Qualcomm processor may not use the Passthrough MAC address of the computer. This behavior is seen when connecting network to DisplayLink docks such as Dell Universal Dock UD22 or D6000. The computer uses the physical MAC address of the DisplayLink dock’s Ethernet controller.

Affected Platforms:

• Latitude 5455 with a Qualcomm Processor
• Latitude 7455 with a Qualcomm Processor

DisplayLink driver prior to 11.5.6200.0 does not support the Passthrough MAC feature with Qualcomm platforms.

Updating to DisplayLink Dock Driver version 11.5.6200.0, A07 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the driver, reference How to Download and Install Dell Drivers.
