Removing the heatsink

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
   1. battery
   2. base cover
   3. docking board
3. To release the heatsink:
   1. Peel the tape that secures the antenna cable [1].
   2. Disconnect the antenna cable [2].
   3. Peel the tape that secures the heatsink assembly [3].
   
4. To remove heat sink:
   1. Loosen the screws that secure the heatsink to the system board in the sequence shown [1, 2, 3, 4].
      NOTE The screws are retained by the heatsink and should not be fully removed.
   2. Lift and remove the heatsink assembly from the computer chassis [5].
