NEWVOLID
Creates a new volume ID using the specified volser.
The NEWVOLID parameter can be specified on the LINK and UNLINK command.
The NEWVOLID parameter only applies to locally addressable volumes. NEWVOLID is ignored if you specify it on actions with the SYMDV#, LOCAL, or REMOTE parameters. The NEWVOLID parameter is also ignored when you specify volumes by GNS group.
