RMT

This parameter specifies the SRDF group through which to perform a remote operation.

RMT applies to all devices in the MODIFY TGT ADD|REMOVE or MODIFY VDG ADD|REMOVE command (except CCUU, SCFG, and SYMCTL), defining the path to the target storage system.

Syntax

RMT(srdfgrp)

NOTE:REMOTE is an alias of RMT.

Options

srdfgrp
A one- or two-digit hexadecimal value, a single SRDF group or for multihop configurations, a list of up to four SRDF group numbers separated by periods.

When the RMT syntax is used for a VDG that is defined with the CONSISTENT(YES) parameter and has active R2 devices, you can specify no more than two hops (SRDF groups).
