Removing a front fan module

Steps

  1. Press the release button to release the fan module.
  2. Hold and pull the fan module out of the fan bay.

    NOTE:The cooling fan modules are hot-swappable.
    CAUTION:To maintain proper cooling while the system is active, replace one fan module at a time.
    CAUTION:To maintain proper cooling while the system is active, ensure that you install the replacement fan module within 30 seconds.
