source (port monitoring)

Configure a port monitor source.

Syntax

source interface destination interface direction {rx | tx | both}

To disable a monitor source, use the no source interface destination interface direction {rx | tx | both} command.

Parameters

interface	Enter the one of the following keywords and slot/port information: For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword `TenGigabitEthernet` then the slot/port information.
destination	Enter the keyword `destination` to indicate the interface destination.
direction {rx \| tx \| both}	Enter the keyword `direction` followed by one of the packet directional indicators. `rx`: to monitor receiving packets only. `tx`: to monitor transmitting packets only. `both`: to monitor both transmitting and receiving packets.

Usage Information

The monitored (source) interface must be a server-facing interface in the format slot/port, where valid slot number is 0 and server-facing port numbers are from 1 to 8.
