Removing the 2 x 2.5-inch rear drive module air shroud
Prerequisites
CAUTION:Never operate your system with the
air shroud removed. The system may
get overheated quickly, resulting in shutdown of the system and loss of data.
- Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
- Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
Steps
Press the orange release tabs and lift the air shroud out of the rear drive module.Figure 1. Removing the 2 x 2.5-inch rear drive module air shroud
