Management applications for Shared PERC 8 card
The Dell Chassis
Management Controller (CMC) allows you to:
- Configure the shared RAID system
- Create and manage multiple disk groups
- Control and monitor multiple RAID systems
- Enable LKM on Shared PERC
- Provide online maintenance through a web interface or Command Line Interface (CLI)
- NOTE: Dell OpenManage Storage Management, BIOS Configuration Utility ( Ctrl+L), or Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) RAID Configuration Utility does not support the Shared PERC 8 and may only be used to manage nonshared PERC cards. For nonshared PERC cards, see the system-specific PERC User's Guide at Dell.com/storagecontrollermanuals.
