Symptoms

Når du forsøger at tilføje vRPA'er med 4 NIC'er, men topologien ikke bruger alle fire, kan DM mislykkes, når du forsøger at tilføje nye RPA'er.

DM-logfiler viser følgende, selvom DHCP ikke er aktiveret:

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: null arguments: ip=null

com.emc.dm.exception.InstallationFlowException: Rpa: null is down.

Cause

Dette problem er relateret til tilføjelse af vRPA'er med 4 NIC'er, men brug af en anden topologi som f.eks. DATA_IS_SEPARATED og ikke DUAL_DATA_NICS.

Resolution
