Instructions

Power Banks that are produced between January 04, 2017 and March 15, 2017 may have an incomplete end cap weld

Power Bank Adapter production from January 04, 2017, through to March 15, 2017 may have incomplete end cap welds. This can allow the end cap to separate in normal use. If the end cap comes off, it is possible to reach into the housing and touch internal components. If the adapter is connected to power, then a shock could result.

There have been no (zero) reported safety incidents resulting from this issue.

A voluntary replacement program is in place

Dell is offering a voluntary replacement of affected adapters.

Note: It is important to recognize that this replacement program is for the Adapter piece only. Upon receipt of the replacement, the original affected adapter must be returned. Retain your original Power bank and cables, as these parts are not provided.
