AppSync 4.0: Cannot Find R2 Device when Source Volume Not in SRDF Relationship, when LUN Not on Supported Array

Error: Not able to find SRDF group information for the source volume 001AF in array 000xxxxxxxxx GENL_000044,AS-Server,The following application items are on non-configured storage system or on an unsupported storage configuration: [DBNAME]. Register the required storage system in AppSync and/or verify that the underlying storage configuration is supported by AppSync. Also, verify if the storage preference set in the Service Plan is supported by the underlying array. SPP_000037,AS-Server,Cannot determine the storage type where application DBNAME resides. Verify if the application is located on a supported EMC storage that has been added to AppSync.
Cause
One of the Source Logical Unit Numbers (LUN) is not on a supported array and the SRDF error is erroneous.
Resolution
Identify the LUN that is not on the Supported array and ensure it resides on a supported array.

For the specific incident that prompted this article:
The following five lines from the AppSync Server are seen in the process for AppSync finding the WWN from vCenter. The first line includes the file system name. The last line shows that the WWN returned by vCenter, which starts with 6000 and indicates a Dell Array.
- All Source LUN is on VMAX except one.
- All disks are VMware vDisks.
