When contacting Dell Technologies to request assistance with software products, it helps streamline the end user experience by providing the assigned Product Software Unique ID (SWUID). This SWUID should be supplied to Dell Technologies at the time of case creation or during the software renewal process. Having the software asset linked to the (case creation/ asset renewal) process assists with accurate initial routing to the correct team.
Each of the knowledge base articles is designed to help obtain the SWUID from the product while logged into the software application.
