Symptoms

Network connectivity issues may be experienced when moving between access points with the same SSID while connected with a Realtek 8852BE wireless card. Limited network connectivity is experienced while moving between physical locations with the computer.

Cause

When the computer moves to another access point, the operating system misses a command. This causes the wireless driver to get out of sync with the access points.

Resolution

Note: Before starting the update, perform the following:
  • Back up all personal data. For more information, refer to Back Up and Recovery.
  • Connect the AC adapter.

Updating the Realtek RTL8852BE Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Driver version 6001.15.161.0, A19 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the driver, refer to How to Download and Install Dell Drivers and Firmware.
