NetWorker server reports "Error: Server is disabled, duplicate enablers"

• NetWorker server was migrated to a new host with the same hostname/IP address as the previous server. The old server is offline, no longer accessible on the network.
• The new server has had NetWorker software upgraded from NetWorker 8.x to 18.x or later.
• Server is disabled with the following alert in the NetWorker Management Console (NMC) "Error: Server is disabled, duplicate enablers"
• Legacy enabler-code model in use.

Delete one of the CLP update licenses with the following procedure.

1. Create a copy of the \nsr\res\nsrdb directory.

Linux: /nsr/res/nsrdb
Windows: <INSTALL_DRIVE>:\Program Files\EMC NetWorker\nsr\res\nsrdb

1. Collect bootstrap info: mminfo -B
2. Collect a copy of all licenses applied from nsradmin (offline mode)
   1. nsradmin -d path_to_nsrdb_dir
   2. show name; enabler code; auth code
   3. print type: nsr license
3. Delete one of the "CLP Update Licenses"
   1. print type: nsr license; name: "CLP Update License"
   2. delete
   3. yes
   4. no (One of the CLP update licenses is kept)
   5. quit
4. Restart NetWorker services:
