Apart from static VXLAN for VLT, you can also use
an NSX controller for VXLAN in a VLT setup. The following illustration
depicts a VXLAN setup in a VLT topology. With this setup, VXLAN switch
happens across data centers.

Important Points to Remember
The VLT peer port channel number must be the same on both VLT
peers.
before configuring controller-based VXLAN with VLT, remove any
existing standalone VXLAN configuration.
BFD tunnels come up only after the NSX controller sends tunnel
details. The details come after the remote MAC addresses are downloaded
from NSX controller.
