Supported PowerProtect Data Manager and DDVE deployment configurations
In order to protect virtual machine assets, PowerProtect Data Manager and DDVE are deployed to OCVS on OCI.
An Open Virtualization Appliance (OVA) is used when deploying PowerProtect Data Manager to OCVS on OCI.
If OCI is deployed to on-premises servers, a hybrid OCVS software-defined data center (SDDC) is created between the on-premises SDDC and the Oracle Cloud.
