Troubleshooting virtual machine storage-policy changes
This section provides information about issues related to virtual machine storage-policy changes.
Changing a virtual machine storage-policy from TSDM to VADP
If you change a virtual machine storage-policy from TSDM to VADP, you might see two data-protection tasks, one with the following error:
Cannot complete the operation. See the event log for details. The specified protected entity is already undergoing a protect or unprotect operation.
The System Jobs window might show a configuration task with a status of Failed.
The error and failed configuration task can be ignored.
