Troubleshooting installation and operation
You might encounter the following issue during installation or operation.
VM Direct host cannot be added with short name instead of FQDN
Adding a VM Direct host with a short name is not supported.
If a short name is used to add the VM Direct host, PowerProtect Data Manager fails to add the host.
To resolve the issue, configure the host with a Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN), and then retry the operation.
