Installing The SAS Expander Daughter Card
- Press the two release tabs inwards to release the lock.
Once the lock is released, the release tabs pop-up.
- Align the SAS expander daughter card with the opening on the front-panel of the system.
- Slowly push the SAS expander daughter card inside the chassis.
Do not apply any pressure to lock the card.
- Verify, if the SAS expander daughter card pins are inserted in the slots of the backplane.
- Press the release tabs to lock the SAS expander daughter card.
- Connect the SAS cables.
- Close the system.
- Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
