Removing The SAS Expander Daughter Card

1. Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
2. Open the system.
3. Locate the SAS expander daughter card on the system.
4. Disconnect the SAS cables connected to the SAS expander daughter card and hard-drive backplane.
5. Push or lift the riser release tabs upwards, so that the tabs are in 90 degrees position.
   While lifting the release tabs, the SAS expander daughter card sled slides out disengaging itself from the backplane slots, towards the front of the system.
6. Pull and remove the SAS expander daughter card sled out of the system chassis.
