Configure the embedded operating system-based jump server to use the service port

Use this procedure to configure the embedded operating system-based jump server to use the service port.

Steps

  1. Log in to the jump server VM using VNC or VMware console in vCenter.
  2. Open the System Settings and double-click Network Settings.
  3. Click the Wired tab, and select the new NIC.
    For example, ens224.
  4. From the IPv4 Address tab, change Method to Manual.
  5. Type the following to configure the IP on the new interface: 
    IP Address - <> 
Netmask <>
No default gateway
  6. Save and close.
