Device discovery rules

A device discovery rule enables you to add devices in secure connect gateway based on IP address ranges or comma-separated hostname expressions or IP addresses.

The following table describes the parameters that are used to manage device discovery rules:

Parameter Description
createdOn Date when the rule was created.
credProfileId Identifier for the credential profile
enableMonitoring Specifies whether monitoring must be enabled for the discovered devices.
ipList IP addresses of the devices that must be discovered by the rule
ipRanges IP range of the devices that must be discovered by the rule
isDeepDiscovery Specifies whether deep discovery must be performed on the discovered devices.
isRecurring Specifies whether the rule is set to recur.
isSNMPConfig Specifies whether SNMP settings must be configured on the discovered devices.
lastRunOn Date and time when the rule was last run.
name Name of the rule
nextTriggeredDate Date when the rule runs again
ruleId Identifier for the rule
selectedDeviceTypes List of device types as specified in the secure connect gateway user interface
status Running status of the rule
