Secure Connect Gateway REST API Guide

Enable or disable device-level maintenance mode

Device-level maintenance mode suspends alert processing and automatic case creation capabilities for a specific device. secure connect gateway automatically enables maintenance mode for a specific device if it received 10 or more valid hardware alerts within one hour from the device. The device remains in maintenance mode for 30 minutes, enabling you to resolve the issue without creating additional support cases for the device. An email notification is also sent to the primary and secondary contacts, and the maintenance mode icon is displayed beside the device on the Manage devices page. After 30 minutes, the device is automatically removed from maintenance mode, enabling secure connect gateway to resume normal alert processing for the device. If required, you can resume the maintenance mode for the device or disable it before 30 minutes.

For information about the parameters used, see Maintenance mode.
