Accelerating AI Innovation: The Power of Open Access

From cutting-edge models to enterprise-grade applications, discover how Dell Technologies and Hugging Face are accelerating AI adoption and driving meaningful outcomes.

tl;dr: Open access accelerates AI progress. Dell Technologies and Hugging Face make it simple to deploy and scale open-source AI on-premises with the Dell Enterprise Hub. With curated models, pre-validated apps, and optimized containers for Dell platforms, teams can move from experimentation to production fast – while keeping data secure and in their control.

The world of artificial intelligence is expanding at an incredible pace. I see it in the rapid growth of new models and the powerful applications being built. This is more than just technological progress; it’s a fundamental shift in how businesses can innovate and create value. Democratizing technology is in our DNA, and that is even more important in AI as true value is unlocked only when these powerful tools are made widely and easily available. Open access is the key that will accelerate the pace of AI innovation, iteration, and adoption for everyone.

At Dell Technologies, we want to empower every organization to harness the full power of AI on their own terms. This means removing the complexities that often stand in the way of progress. That is why our collaboration with Hugging Face is so important. Together, we are building a bridge for enterprises to step confidently into the future of AI by simplifying on-premises deployments. This unique approach allows customers to leverage open-sourced innovation while ensuring their data remains securely within their own infrastructure.

A partnership for progress

Our journey with Hugging Face began with a shared vision: to make on-premises AI deployment simple, secure, and scalable. This collaboration led to the creation of the Dell Enterprise Hub on Hugging Face, the first and only dedicated platform by an OEM that puts the world’s most advanced open-source AI at your fingertips.

This isn’t just about providing access; it’s about providing a clear path to success. We started by launching the Model Catalog, giving businesses a curated library of cutting-edge open-source models like Meta’s Llama 4, Google’s Gemma3, and OpenAI’s GPT OSS models. The list of model publishers on Dell Enterprise Hub continues to grow, giving more options to enterprises in building and deploying their AI applications. Each model is optimized out of the box to run on Dell’s powerful AI infrastructure, including the latest accelerators from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel. I am proud that we were the first and only Hugging Face partner platform to host the Llama 4 and OpenAI models on the day of their release, a testament to our commitment to bringing innovation to our customers faster.

From models to applications: simplifying deployment

I am constantly listening to our customers, and I’ve heard a clear message: deploying models is just the first step. The real goal is to build and run applications that solve business problems. To address this, we launched the Application Catalog within the Dell Enterprise Hub. This dedicated section is designed to radically simplify on-premises AI deployment.

Imagine deploying a pre-validated, enterprise-grade AI application with just a single command. The Application Catalog makes this a reality. It eliminates complex setup processes and dramatically reduces deployment time from weeks to minutes. Whether you are deploying a scalable multi-turn and persistent chatbot or building complex Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows with it, you can generate a Helm chart and deploy it into your Kubernetes environment with ease.

This streamlined experience empowers developers, IT administrators, and data scientists to move from concept to value faster than ever before. We provide the tools, including a Command Line Interface (CLI) and Python SDK to Dell Enterprise Hub, so your teams can consume these models and applications programmatically to focus on innovation and not on infrastructure.

How Dell Enterprise Hub accelerates your AI journey

The combination of Dell’s industry-leading AI infrastructure and the Dell Enterprise Hub provides a powerful advantage for any organization looking to accelerate its AI initiatives. We’ve moved beyond just making model deployments easy; we ensure they are optimized.

When you use the Dell Enterprise Hub, you get more than just a model. You receive a complete container with the foundation model, platform-specific optimizations, and all necessary software dependencies. These containers are validated to perform optimally on Dell platforms, allowing you to start training, fine-tuning, and inferencing with no code changes.

This approach has significant benefits:

  • Performance and Scalability: Deploy validated models and applications that are ready to scale with your business needs, backed by the reliability of the Dell AI Factory.
  • Enterprise-Grade Security: Run leading open-source models and applications on-premises, keeping your sensitive data secure and within your control. Your prompts and generated output stay with you in your infrastructure.
  • Enhanced Productivity: Your developers can work faster, deploying cutting-edge AI optimized for enterprise use cases and accelerating your time-to-value.
