Symptoms



SP unexplained reboot. No dumps created.
The array may dial home with error code neo14:60643 or 14:60643 (The DPE has faulted).

IMPORTANT:
The above error code (neo14:60643 or 14:60643) is a generic DPE faulted error and this KB does NOT apply to all instances.
This KB only applies if the specific BMC SEL log error messages are observed: Reason Code=14

Cause

This is a SSP hang reboot (code=14 - 0x0E). This causes a loss of thermal reading data that triggers the 5 min shutdown timer. When the timer expires, the SP resets and then comes back up.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is included in Unity OE 4.2.1.9535982. Please upgrade to the latest target version.
