Symptoms

Dopo un aggiornamento alla versione 5.3, SupportAssist con SCG (server gateway) non può essere abilitato. Viene visualizzato il seguente errore:
 
Operazione non riuscita. Error code:
0x6400bee Impossibile eseguire l'operazione perché Connect Home non è stato configurato. (Codice d'errore: 0x6400bee)

Il file cemtracer_emcsupport.log mostra i seguenti errori:

Quando si tenta di disabilitare connecthome manualmente, viene visualizzato il seguente errore: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate
INFO [spa]: Verifying peer connectivity ...
ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Non è configurato alcun indirizzo e-mail "da": 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Cause

Per abilitare SupportAssist nella versione 5.3, connectemc deve disporre di un indirizzo e-mail "mittente".

Resolution

Seguire la procedura riportata di seguito per inserire un indirizzo del mittente fittizio e configurare SupportAssist:
  1. Ottenere il server SMTP corrente con "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Riconfigurare connecthome con un fittizio --sendermail: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Configurazione di SupportAssist con SCG
