Symptoms

Após um upgrade para a versão 5.3, o Support Assist com SCG (Gateway Server) não pode ser ativado. O seguinte erro é visto:
 
Falha na operação. Código de erro:
0x6400bee falha ao executar a operação porque o connect home não foi configurado. (Código de erro:0x6400bee)

O cemtracer_emcsupport.log mostra os seguintes erros:

Ao tentar desativar o connecthome manualmente, o seguinte erro é exibido: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate
INFO [spa]: Verifying peer connectivity ...
ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Não há nenhum endereço de e-mail "de" configurado: 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Cause

Para ativar o Support Assist no 5.3, o connectemc precisa ter um endereço de e-mail "from".

Resolution

Siga estas etapas para inserir um endereço fictício do remetente e configurar o Support Assist:
  1. Obtenha o servidor SMTP atual com "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Reconfigure o connecthome com um --sendermail fictício: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Configurar o Support Assist com o SCG
