Symptoms

Etter en oppgradering til 5.3 kan ikke Support Assist med SCG (Gateway Server) aktiveres. Følgende feil vises:
 
Operasjonen mislyktes. Feilkode:
0x6400bee kunne ikke utføre operasjonen fordi Connect Home ikke er konfigurert. (Feilkode:0x6400bee)

Cemtracer_emcsupport.log viser følgende feil:

Når du prøver å deaktivere connecthome manuelt, vises følgende feil: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate
INFO [spa]: Verifying peer connectivity ...
ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Det er ikke konfigurert en fra-e-postadresse: 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Cause

For å kunne aktivere Support Assist i 5.3 må connectemc ha en «fra»-e-postadresse.

Resolution

Følg disse trinnene for å angi en midlertidig avsenderadresse og konfigurere Support Assist:
  1. Hent gjeldende SMTP-server med "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Konfigurer connecthome på nytt med en dummy --sendermail: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Konfigurere Support Assist med SCG
