Efter en opgradering til 5.3 kan Support Assist med SCG (Gateway Server) ikke aktiveres. Følgende fejl vises:
 
Handlingen mislykkedes. Fejlkode:
0x6400bee kunne ikke udføre handlingen, fordi Connect Home ikke er blevet konfigureret. (Fejlkode:0x6400bee)

cemtracer_emcsupport.log viser følgende fejl:

Når du forsøger at deaktivere connecthome manuelt, vises følgende fejl: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate

ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Der er ikke konfigureret en "fra"-e-mailadresse: 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Cause

For at aktivere Support Assist i 5.3 skal connectemc have en "fra"-e-mailadresse.

Resolution

Følg disse trin for at indtaste en dummy-afsenderadresse og konfigurere SupportAssist:
  1. Hent den aktuelle SMTP-server med "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Omkonfigurer connecthome med en dummy --sendermail: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Konfigurer Support Assist med SCG
