Efter en uppgradering till 5.3 kan Support Assist med SCG (Gateway Server) inte aktiveras. Följande fel visas:
 
Åtgärden misslyckades. Felkod:
0x6400bee Det gick inte att utföra åtgärden eftersom Connect Home inte har konfigurerats. (Felkod: 0x6400bee)

I cemtracer_emcsupport.log visas följande fel:

När du försöker avaktivera Connecthome manuellt visas följande fel: 
svc_connectemc --disable --nodbupdate
INFO [spa]: Verifying peer connectivity ...
ERROR [spa]: Email (ConnectEMC) not configured.

Det finns ingen "från"-e-postadress konfigurerad: 
uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail
Storage system address: 127.0.0.1
Storage system port: 443
HTTPS connection

1:    Enabled             = yes
      SMTP server         = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
      E-mail from address = (none)@emc.com  

Cause

För att aktivera Support Assist i 5.3 måste connectemc ha en "från"-e-postadress.

Resolution

Så här anger du en provisorisk avsändaradress och konfigurerar Support Assist:
  1. Skaffa aktuell SMTP-server med "uemcli /sys/support/connecthome show -detail"
  2. Konfigurera om connecthome med en dummy --sendermail: 
    svc_connectemc --enable  --sendermail test@test.com
  3. Konfigurera Support Assist med SCG
