Removing front system-fans
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the left-side cover.
- Remove the front system-fan assembly.
About this task
The following image provides a visual representation of the front system-fans removal procedure.
Steps
- Unroute the fan cable from the routing clip on the fan bracket.
- Move the fan at an angle from the fan bracket.
- Remove the fan cable from the slot on the bracket.
- Lift and remove the fan along with the cable away from the fan bracket.
NOTE:Perform step 1 to step 3, to remove rest of the fans from the fan bracket.
