Removing the left-side cover
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in
Before working inside your computer.
NOTE:Ensure that you remove the security cable from the security-cable slot (if applicable).
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the left-side cover and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Using the Philips screwdriver turn the side-panel latch to the unlocked position.
- Push the latch and release the left-side cover from the computer.
- Open the side cover at an angle and lift the cover away from the chassis.
