Creating the Navisphere file manually on UNIX systems
To manually configure the Navisphere security file on UNIX systems, type the following command:
naviseccli -h VNX_server -addusersecurity -user VNX_array_user -password VNX_array_user_password -Scope VNX_ARRAY_ACCESS -Address VNX_server_frameIPVNX_ARRAY_ACCESS is set by the Storage Admin based on VNX_array_user. The options are as follows:
- 0 - global
- 1 - local
- 2 - LDAP
The VNX_server_frameIP can be 1 or more, and is the IP where the LUNs are visible to the array.
