ip ospf area

Attaches an interface to an OSPF area.

Syntax
ip ospf process-id area area-id
Parameters
  • process-id — Set an OSPF process ID for a specific OSPF process, from 1 to 65535.
  • area area-id — Enter the OSPF area ID in dotted decimal A.B.C.D format or enter an area ID number, from 1 to 65535.
