Procedure

  1. Remove the hinge caps and lift them off the hinges.

  2. Turn the display assembly over.
  3. Remove the display cable from the routing guide on the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
  4. Remove the tobii eye-tracker board cable from the routing guide on the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
  5. Remove the logo board cable from the routing guide on the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
  6. Remove the wireless-antenna cables from the routing guide on the display back-cover and antenna assembly.

  7. Peel off the tape that secures the display hinge to the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
  8. Remove the 12 screws (M2.5x3) that secure the hinges to the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
  9. Lift the hinges from the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
