    All the required applications for your computer are fetched and installed through the Alienware Command Center Package Manager. The file size of Alienware Command Center Package Manager is different from the application packages that are being fetched through it.

  5. What happens to the installation process if my computer shuts down in between the installation?

    When you turn on your computer, the installation is resumed from where it was stopped.

  6. When is the Alienware Command Center 6.0 going to be available on previous generation Alienware computers?

    Currently, Alienware Command Center is available on the new family of Alienware and G Series laptops that are referenced in this document. Dell Technologies is currently exploring backwards compatibility and timing for it.

  7. What are the different ways that I can install Alienware Command Center?

    Alienware Command Center 6.0 can be automatically installed using Task Scheduler, Microsoft Store, or Alienware Update. You can also manually install by going to Drivers & Downloads page on Dell Support.

  8. Can I install an older version of Alienware Command Center?

    No. Attempts to install Alienware Command Center 5.5.x while Alienware Command Center 6.0 is installed, triggers an automated stop.

  9. Does AWCC automatically disable it and go back to performance with lights if you are on stealth mode and decide to open a game?

    The device stays in stealth mode. If you want to game, Dell Technologies recommends you to turn off stealth mode.

  10. Which games stores are supported by AWCC 6?

    The following games are supported:

  11. How to install AWCC 6 on non-Alienware or Dell Gaming computers to customize supported Alienware peripherals?

    Go to Dell Support and find your computer in the Identify your product or search support field. Then go to the Drivers & Downloads page and select the latest version of the Alienware Command Center 6.x (third-party) application.

  12. Why am i not able to access AWCC 6 on my Alienware computer even though i have an Alienware Pro mouse and keyboard?

    The new features for the Alienware Pro Mouse and Keyboard offered by AWCC 6 are available only on the following Alienware Systems and third-party computers.
