Update the firmware of the connected keyboard and mouse

You can update the firmware with a combined upgrade process for the device and dongle using Alienware Command Center. If the device is connected using a wireless dongle, you must connect the device using a USB cable to update the device.

Steps

  1. Select the Pro Gaming keyboard or mouse under ALIENFX.
  2. Go to Setting > Update.
  3. Verify the available versions.
  4. If you want to update, click Install available update.
    The installation status is displayed.

    After the firmware update, the new version is displayed.

Next steps

If you update the headset firmware using a wired connection and the dongle firmware is not updated, a message is displayed requesting you to switch to a wireless connection to update the firmware of the dongle.

If you update the dongle firmware and the headset firmware is not updated, a message is displayed requesting you to switch to a wired connection to update the firmware of the headset.
