After running a virtual machine protection policy, you can delete a virtual machine backup copy if you no longer require the copy and retention lock is not enabled.

NOTE:This procedure describes how to delete asset copies from the Infrastructure > Assets window. This functionality is also available from the Infrastructure > Copy Management window, which provides advanced search and filter functionality to locate one or more specific copies of a protected asset from a list of all available asset copies. Any user with the privilege to delete copies from the Infrastructure > Assets window also has access to this functionality from the Infrastructure > Copy Management window.
