Removing M.2 2280 solid-state drive
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Disconnect the battery cable.
- To remove the SSD:
- Remove the M2x3 screw that secures the SSD card [1].
The SSD pops up.
- Slide and lift the SSD card from the system board [2].
- Remove the M2x3 screw that secures the SSD card [1].
