Deployment

Prerequisites

To deploy hypervisor on the server, ensure that the following prerequisites are met :
  • Bare-metal server—Ensure that bare metals are discovered in OpenManage Enterprise and later user has to add bare metal to select servers that can be deployed. For more information about adding a bare metal servers, see Add bare metal servers.
  • ISO Profile. To create an ISO profile, click CREATE. For more information about creating ISO profile, see Create an ISO profile. By using the ISO Profile Deployment wizard.
  • Ensure OpenManage Enterprise built-in Appliance share is set to CIFS. To change the settings, At OpenManage Enterprise, navigate to Application Settings > Console Preferance > Built-in Appliance share.
